Interactive Presentation Award at Interaction 2015

We presented research results on text selection methods for touch interfaces such as smartphones at Interaction 2015(external link), the largest conference on interactive systems in Japan, and won the Interactive Presentation Award. People at the conference voted on their favorites, and ours was among three posters chosen out of 75 presented on that day.
In the context of the shift from PCs to mobile, there’s an urgent need to develop new UI adapted to touch interfaces. So, we'll continue this research with the aim of making further academic contributions.
